Klein ISD School Board is Changing Board Policy without Transparency
The Klein ISD School Board is editing the agenda AFTER meetings take place. Addressing the Board about agenda item 10B at the 8/12/24 meeting During the last two Regular meetings, the Klein ISD School Board has voted to modify Board Policy without the public having access to what the proposed modifications were. At the 8/12/24 Board Meeting, Agenda Item 10 listed the following with no supporting documents or details about the policies being voted on. I spoke at that meeting with regard to Agenda Item 10-B. "Neither the public notice nor the agenda have any insight as to what modifications you will be voting on. What changes are you proposing to make to the board policies?" At no point during the rest of the meeting did the Klein ISD Board of Trustees read, list, or display the proposed modifications. They voted to approve all modifications unanimously, 7-0.
